The text on the side of the sleeve is in what appears to be Comic Sans. This amuses me to no end.

NaveekDarkroom Never noticed that. I just wonder what the typeface on an original looks like. I don't see any images of the spine here for original copies of the album. My Canadian version uses a font quite similar to Comic Sans. It's not comic sans, when I got it, I thought at first it was comic sans.
Gabar
This is the reason why I didn't buy this issue when I saw it in store...

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one who noticed. When I bought the album and saw that I fucking died. Such great graphic design! It’s on the back cover as well!
ladushka
I really enjoy this pressing, lovely sound and for the price it's just great!
Cordaron
Comic Sans everywhere, six more words to post this comment.
Rainshaper
Way ahead of its time, progressive music at its finest! The vinyl is super thick and sounds amazing, I also love the old school Atlantic Records labels, they look super dope.
Mr Freeman
"replicated to the finest detail" it's not: no texturing on the cover, no silver elements in the lettering. the sound has more highs (cymbals and sibilants) than the UK original (A3/B3) I happen to have, and more than necessary. the Friday Music edition I'm sorry to have let go was as close to the UK original sound-wise as humanly possible. nevertheless, this an enjoyable reissue.
Sat
Fantastic. Phenomenal 3D, obviously-analog sound. Get this one and do not be tempted by that Fridays version, which is truly awful.
Quphagie
An excellent production. Excellent sound /excellent presentation. I love it!

The print quality of the pictures on the back of the cover is very bad in comparison to original copies. The remaster audio quality is good, maybe a little less natural than the original that I have heard (Japan, uk), but more enhanced in bass frequencies. The organ in "I Get Up I Get Down", however, has a signal distortion too much loud, very harsh on treble frequencies. Someone has encountered the same feeling?
Celace
I agree, but the fact is that the original entire LP is less loud. The original has an old type of mastering, so it sounds more natural but, in particular on the organ and synth part, more thin (so the distorted parts are more annoying). The new mastering is more powerful and clean and the high distorted frequencies are compensated by a greater power on the low ones. Mastering is a good job, but a little less natural and wide than the original to my ears. So, I prefer overall the first UK pressing, but for the organ part the new one is more accommodating.
Windbearer
I agree with the organ is to loud and has some distortion except that it has very good soundcompered with the original first copy i have.
Sharpbrew
Hi, now I have the original UK first press and I had also a 1st japanese. The organ is always distorted. So, it's in the original recording and it's non possibile to eliminate. But ok, the LP is so extraordinary that we can forget about this "problem". ;)
Agamaginn
It does not work as "higher frequencies will not be processed as it should by the speakers" -> The organ itself is heavily distorted in middle frequency ranges due to clipping, loud recording. It is in the signalI am deeply disappointed with this part -> at Amazon this version is also highlighted as Audiophile version. Bah!
Gholbithris
Yes, the organ is distorted. I'm not sure if that is a defect of the pressing or in the original master tapes.
Уou ll never walk alone
Hi Talivan! yes I agree, is good! For the high frequencies, my sistem is good but the fact is, I think, that the original recording has that type of sound (maybe comes from the wakema's organ recording in the church), now I have also an original 1st UK lp and has the same "aggressiveness" in that moment. ;)
GEL
I agree in everything you posted. I gotta said I am very pleased by the sound quality. I think the audio system we both have (dunno, the chances i guess) is not the best to handle the "analogue master tapes" (in other words, higher frequencies will not be processed as it should by the speakers, imho). But the print quality i found it good, not excelent as other, but still good.

"PACKAGING REPLICATED TO THE FINEST DETAIL" - Well, i'm not quite shure they used MS Comic Sans back in 1972 ?!?
Lahorns Gods
My Canadian Version (https://www.discogs.com/Yes-Close-To-The-Edge/release/7473259) appears to use a font at least similar to comic sans. The spine on mine is fairly worn so it's a bit hard to tell, but you can tell it's not Comic Sans, although it is very similar. When I first got it, I genuinely thought it was Comic Sans, but I looked at it again and I don't believe it's actually comic sans.
Roram
As far as I can tell, this release is preferred to all recent LP releases of this album. The Friday release was lackluster, but this mastering by Chris Bellman is fantastic, and I find that I actually listen to it more often than my MFSL copy.
Modigas
"PACKAGING REPLICATED TO THE FINEST DETAIL" - that's a funny one. Had the LP on my hands (I bought it for my dad) and the sleeve wasn't textured. The original press is. The Japanese mini LP in HDCD from 2001 is not textured, but the SHM from 2008-2009 hopefully is.
Adrietius
Can someone who owns this upload the complete artwork. I have yet to see it. Although I'm sure it matches the original. I'm just a bit retentive.
Mavegar
It's definitely not "replicated to the finest detail" as says the sticker, it's not the same graphic quality (I own a 1972 LP too so I can compare side by side). I think it sounds good though.
